Seasonal forecast are also used for crop planting, water management, and other activities that depends on long term weather trends. Another long term forecast is climate change. Scientist use climate modols to predict how climate change will effects weather pattern in the future. Some of the prediction include more extreme weather event, more drought, and rising sea levels.
